E1: 74: P743002 Incorrectly Doesn't Show Local Instrument Type (74LINS) As Mandatory (R03B571, R03B575, R743005) (Doc ID 2542331.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 24, 2020

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Accounts Receivable - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Per the TOI on SEPA direct debits, the Mandate Local Instrument Type field (74LINS) is a mandatory field:

"On the Mandate - SEPA Direct Debit screen header enter required fields like Mandate Identification, Mandate Date, Mandate Active Date, Mandate Sequence Type, Local Instrument Type, Status Note - Enter Debtor Id (Payor) and it will populate other fields."

However, this field does not show a blue asterisk next to it to indicate to users that it is a mandatory field.

If it is left blank, the Create Automatic Debit Batch (R03B571) shows the following error:

"SEPA error Mandate information not found" (error ID K74E053)

Note: the guide currently does not state that Local Instrument Type is a mandatory field. This has been reported in Documentation <Bug 29779179>: GUIDE FOR SEPA MISSING INFO ON MANDATE LOCAL INSTRUMENT TYPE BEING MANDATORY.
