E1: 31: WO Completion Program P31114 Is Not Converting Correctly To Primary UM - Rounding Issue (Doc ID 2551568.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 30, 2019

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Shop Floor Control - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9.2]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

In P31114, when the completed quantity is entered in EA (1920 EA), but primary is BOX, the recorded completed quantity is calculated under the expected ratio (0.999 instead of 1).

There are multiple UOM conversions defined at item level and some of them are defined with six decimals and are very small compared to the unit:

1 BOX - 1920 EA - Conversion to primary=1

1 BOX - 5 KG - Conversion to primary=1

1 BOX - 0-45 M3 - Conversion to primary=1

1 BOX - 1.920 TH - Conversion to primary=1

1 EA - 25 GM - Conversion to primary=0.0005208

1 EA - 22 GN - Conversion to primary=0.0005208

If the GM and GN conversions are removed, the process works as expected: 1920 EA entered in P31114 are recorded as 1 BOX (and not 0.999 BOX).

Dual unit of measure is not accepted as a setup to try to fix the issue.
