E1: 12: Why doesn't the P12105 Create a R09801 Report when Run in Final. (Doc ID 2554385.1)

Last updated on JUNE 07, 2022

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Fixed Assets - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The Single Asset disposal (P12105) was modified to automate posting the disposal transactions to both the General Ledger and the Fixed Asset Module.   It is designed to prevent an asset from being disposed of more than once.  However, with this change came the elimination of the R09801 report.  Since the system is not  creating a posting report when General Ledger balances are updated.   When Account balances are changed – as they are with Disposals – an R09801 needs to be created just like every other process in JDE.

Changes

Currently R09801 calls R12800 wide open with all the asset numbers.  By doing this existing un-posted F0911/F0902/F1202 records irrespective of the asset number gets posted.  Because of this reason R09801-R12800 for single asset call can not be made with the existing design of R09801.
