Symptoms
Json Builder in Groovy scripting of a custom service request is converting the values such as “£”,”ä”, “ö”, “ü” to their Unicode values for \u00a3 ,\u00e4,\u00f6 ,\u00fc.
Instead need the £ symbol printed on our invoices so it should not convert into Unicode
