Symptoms

Enterprise server does not come up if JDE password is encrypted using the cluster

PLATFORM
1. E1 Release: 9.2
2. Tools Release:9.2.2.6
3. Enterprise Server/Release:Oracle Solaris on SPARC (64-bit) 11
4. Database:Oracle Database - Enterprise Edition 12.1.0.2


Used following command to create cluster resource:

clresource create -g [Cluster Name]-rg -d -t ORCL.[JDE Server Name] -p JDE_USER=jde -p JDE_HOME=/XXXXXX/jdeHome/e1/jdedwards/e920 -p Resource_dependencies=[Security Server Name] -p Resource_dependencies_offline_restart=zpool-res [JDE920Server Name]

When starting E1 9.2 via : clrs enable [JDE920Server Name]
it fails to start, with errors on the JDE user password. If sitekey is disabled, this works without issue.

The script that fails is the functions.txt script, and the following jde.log generates:
