E1: 08: Batch Enrollment Uses Initial Eligibility When Employee Is Already Enrolled in Plan

When an Enrollment Override (P08330) is used to enroll an employee in a plan that has initial eligibility set in the Plan Master (P08320) the F08330 enrollment is created without eligible date, this causes Batch Enrollment (R083800) to verify eligibility in the following instances that cause a failure:
- HR decided to waive the waiting period. When R083800 is run the employee intial eligibility is tested and fails. The prior enrollment (F08330) and employee DBA instruction (F06106) are ended as of the day before the R083800 effective date. A new enrollment (F08330) is created with a pending status.
- Employee User Defined Date is used for the Date Code P08395 used in the Eligibility Table P08390. The R083800 / R083810 is run to update plan option rates into the employee DBA instruction (F06106). The R083800 is initial eligibility date for the date for plan option rates and returns No Action Taken in the R083800 instead of updating the rate.
