E1: 15: Lease Accounting: When Deleting End of Period Journals System Incorrectly Updates JE Thru Date (R15180, B1501420) (Doc ID 2576743.1)

Last updated on MARCH 16, 2020

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Real Estate Management - Version 9.1 to 9.2 [Release 9.1 to 9.2]

Symptoms

When we void/delete an end of period document using Batch Review, system looks for the last record in the amortization schedule with a doc number and use that schedule date to re-populate the JE Thru Date.

When we delete end of period journals as far back as Period 1, the lease commencement document is found and that date is populated into JE Thru Date thus making it appear that we have end of period journals for the first month when we don't. This impacts Sublease functionality too.
