E1: 41: Can the Data Relationship Functionality be Extended to the Item Master (F4101) Table?
(Doc ID 2598544.1)
Last updated on OCTOBER 14, 2019
Applies to:
JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Inventory Management - Version 9.2 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
In the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Applications Financial Management Fundamentals Implementation Guide it describes how to setup data relationships functionality and it mentions two tables that support the functionality, the Business Unit Master (F0006) and the Contract Master (F5201).
Is it possible to extend this functionality to the Item Master (F4101)?
For Example:
- Sales Category Code 4 would be the Basis Column. In this example 777 (Mountain Bikes) is entered.
- Sales Category Code 5 and Commodity Class would be Relationship Columns linked to Sales Category Code 4.
- In this example 158 (Bike Accessories) would be a valid value for Sales Category Code 5 and ACC (Accessories) would be a valid value for the Commodity Class.
- Other values in the underlying UDC tables that have nothing to do with Mountain Bikes or Bike Accessories would be filtered out and not available in the list of values presented for Sales Category Code 5 and Commodity Class.
