E1: 34: Line Number (EDLN) In Forecast Transactions (P3460Z1/ W3460Z1A) Does Not Match with Actual Number of Lines (Doc ID 2601539.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 03, 2020

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Requirements Planning - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9.2]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

There is Line Number field in the grid of Forecast Transaction Revision (P3460Z1).

52.000 appears as line number for a batch. Select it to check detail of the lines. Then there are 100 lines.

Line Number (EDLN) in the grid of form W3460Z1A should be the total number of  lines (F3460Z1) in a batch & a transaction.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Forecast transaction revision (P3460Z1)  Click Add and see data entry form(W3460Z1B)
2. Click Import Grid Data icon to import data from csv file.
3. 100 lines were imported to the grid in W3460Z1B. The maximum line number is 100.000. Click OK. Batch number 1300 is assigned.
4. Inquire Batch number 1300 (P3460Z1/W3460Z1A). Line Number in the grid is 2.000. This is wrong. It should be 100.000.

Additional Information.
I inquire again. Line Number of batch 1300 is 52.000 that is different from the above.
