E1: OVR: Unable to Launch Any One View Reports (Standard or Custom), Error: "HTTP transport error" (Doc ID 2601906.1)

Symptoms

Unable to run any One view reports. Trying to create a new One view report also ends in error. The communication between the servers were successful ( Web Server to BIP Server and BIP Server to Web Server). And the softcoding record in P954000 (Work with One View Reports application) have the right values too. Tested the url in the <endpoint> of softcoding record in P954000, this works fine when opened directly on the BIP server. But doesn't open when executed from other client machines

 Tools release was upgraded and then due to certain other issues, it was restored to the older release.
