When a parent form is linked to another application that is a non-entry point form, as soon as user come into CafeOne layout, the child form (non-entry point form) will do a wide open search and bring back a lot of data. This happens when the parent application form does not have any record yet.

In Form Design Aid (FDA), the child form have "Automatically Find On Entry" checkbox selected in the form's Grid Properties. As there is no data in the parent form yet, there is no dynamic link mapping done in the CafeOne layout and thus this will cause the form to perform a wide open search once the child form is launched. This in turn causes slow processing when there are a lot of data in the child form's table.

Is there a way to only show the CafeOne layout child form content only when there is data in the parent form?
