E1: 46: Unable to Populate the VR03 (ReferenceUCISNo) in the F4600 (Pick Requests) from the F4211 (Sales Order Detail) when Running the R46150 (Batch Picking Requests) (Doc ID 2604277.1)

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The VR03 (ReferenceUCISNo) is populated in the F4211 (Sales Order Detail) by a custom UBE. When a pick request is created by the R46150 (Batch Picking Requests), this value is not written to the F4600. Is it possible for this field to be populated in the F4600?

The Reference (VR03) field is a field that was considered a "future use" field. At this time the sales order entry master business functions do not have logic built to populate or update VR03. The same holds true when creating pick requests, as there is not any logic to pull in this value from the F4211 to the F4600 based on the values passed in the data structure.  There is not currently any way to use this field in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne with standard supported application programs.
