E1: MOBJ: Preserve MO Changes When 2 Concurrent Users Are Updating The Same MOBJ Key (Doc ID 2609567.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 11, 2019

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Given the way the attachments are cached when the attachment panel is accessed, it can happen that the attachments can get overridden and lost.

For example:
- user A opens the attachment panel, but doesn't open any attachment immediately;
- user B then opens the attachment panel for the same record and makes a change to an attachment or adds a new attachment;
- user A then decides to click on an attachment and makes a change but their change causes the users B's changes to be lost.

The customer would like JDE to have implemented the attachment locking behavior in order to avoid MO loss.
