E1: MOBJ: UBE: UBE not Printing"<" and following text after P98MOHTM Conversion (Doc ID 2614894.1)

Last updated on JULY 21, 2020

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Converted RTF to HTML via P98MOHTM.

Now UBEs that print a Media Object Text Attachment prints blank for any "<>" characters as well as any text after the "<" character.
Verified the workaround to manually edit the MO text by removing/adding the <> will allow it to mark the <> correctly and print.

Example of error < No text or less than is printed occurs. You get the text before the < side, but the rest does not display.

If the user goes into the MO text and edits/saves the < special character it then prints.
