E1: 43E: Add Validation of Search Types for Supplier Entered in eReq Entry (P43E10) (Doc ID 2621509.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 20, 2019

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Requisition Self Service - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When entering an eReq using the P43E10, there is no validation on the search type of the address book number used for the supplier on the requisition.   At times, suppliers become inactive and the search type is changed in the address book to reflect the that the supplier should no longer be used to create eReqs or purchase orders (ex: XV).  The P43E10 only allows for the ability to validate if a valid supplier master record exists, based on a processing option in the P43E0001.  This request to add processing options for multiple search types that can be setup to validate against the search type entered on the address book for the supplier entered on the eReq and error if a supplier is entered that does not have a valid search type setup.
