It was determined that the Overtime Rule Set for California OT processing does not work correctly with the M1N Charge To Method. Maintaining the original hours and hourly rate is needed for billing purposes.


M1N method has some limitations. It has been determined that when the system is determining the OT hours based on the CA OT Rules, it is also considering the original timecard hours along with the over 8, over 12 and over 40, plus trying to implement the customer call rule, thus it is double-dipping, triple-dipping, etc. There are specific conditions that are forcing the system to function in this manner. The only time this "over" dipping comes into play is when you have:

1. Multiple accumulator rules,

2. When a timecard hits multiple rules and,

3. When the M1N or M2N method is used
