E1: 45: Conditional Comparison Operand "<" ">" to the Advanced Pricing Formula (Doc ID 2622898.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 23, 2019

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Advanced Pricing - Sales - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Suppose there is a discount strategy in place:

Item A, Lot/Serial No. 001,base price:$ 100,No. of life remaining:240 days; price=$100*(1-20%)=$80

Item B,Lot/Serial No.002,base price: $ 100,No. of life remaining: 160 days;price=$100*(1-30%)=$70

The classic formula will not have comparison operands "<" or ">", so it would be difficult to use one.

The request is to add conditional judgment to the function of calculating advanced price by formula in order to achieve the above.
