E1: 31: Process to Automatically Create Work Order Time Transaction (F311221) Records (Doc ID 2623343.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 26, 2019

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Shop Floor Control - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Currently, Work Order Time Entry - P311221 does not allow capturing labor entries automatically, in real time.

Consider the following business process:
The customer is having many employees performing similar shop floor activities and it is looking for an automated way to input the start time and end time of a certain operation into Work Order Time Transactions table, F311221. Ideally, when the user starts an operation sequence (e.g. sewing), there should be able to scan a card that will be read by a scanner and the JDE interface should update the Start Time (system time) of the operation sequence automatically in F31122 table. Once the user finishes the work for that operation sequence, the scanner should update the F31122 table with the correct End Time (system time) for the specified type of hours.
