E1: 74Y: R03B672IT Should Remove the Country Code Prefix From Tax IDs for the RIBA File (Doc ID 2624565.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 30, 2019

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Accounts Receivable - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Currently, when activating Italy localization, the customers can enter Address Book records having Tax Ids either with the country prefix when VIES tax id validation is activated, or without country prefix if VIES is not activated.

The request is that when running R03B672IT to generate the RIBA file, the country prefix letters to be removed from the Tax IDs, regardless of how Tax IDs are stored under the F0101 table, since the banks are accepting the file only if in record type 30, start position 71, the Tax ID value is not having the country prefix.
