E1: 12: Need A New Element for Prior Period Accumulated Depreciation for Argentina Inflation Depreciation Rule (Doc ID 2631635.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 22, 2020

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Fixed Assets - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Need to have a new element added to the R12855-User Define Depreciation so that the prior period accumulated depreciation can be used along with the other 64 elements.

This is needed so the R12855 can calculate Argentina Inflation Depreciation (Inflation Adjustment Configuration).   The law has changed and so has the calculation and a new rule needs to be created to address this.  Currently, the R12855 can calculate the amount needed up until it needs to pull in the prior period accumulated depreciation. There isn't an element available that will pull in FLCHCD equal to 2 for the prior period.  Need to pull in the prior period amounts no matter what period we are calculating depreciation for.  The R12855 can pull in FLAPYC, and YTD (Year to Date)  FLCHCD equal to a 2, but not the prior period.

If this element or rule is needed please open up a Service Request with Support and request that they attach this enhancement request to your Service Request so this information can be tracked by Development.
