E1: TDA: DB: Universal Table Browser (UTB) Shows Column's Data Shifted to Adjacent Column And First Character Truncated in Subsequent Columns (Doc ID 2632201.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 24, 2020

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 8.97 and Prior and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When opening a custom table in Universal Table Browser (UTB), the data from string columns appears shifted to left adjacent columns and in subsequent columns the first character is truncated. See Screenshots below:

"DescriptionOne" which should appear under TTDL01 is shifted under TTPRE0 column. "DescriotionOne" and "DescriptionTwo" are truncated in TTDL01 and TTDL02 columns.

This appears to be an issue with data formats . If we un-check the format data option, the un-formatted data appears in correct columns

There is no issue observed while viewing the data in Data Browser on web clients and all data appears correctly.
