E1: 42S: Unable to Drill Down on Customer Self-Service Product Catalog (Doc ID 2634241.1)

Symptoms

When accessing Product Catalog (P4101H) from Menu G42314 (mode 3) and clicking on the Hyperlink for the Parent Item, the program lists the detailed items and skips the intermediate categories that were setup in the product hierarchy.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Using menu G4241 the select Item Hierarchy Manager (P4101H) to create a product hierarchy.
    1. The Root Level is defined by the values populated in Sales Reporting Code 4 (SRP4)
    2. Level 2 is defined by the values populated in Sales Reporting Code 3 (SRP3)
    3. Level 3 is defined by the values populated in Sales Reporting Code 1 (SRP1)
    4. Level 4 is defined by the values populated in Sales Reporting Code 1 (SRP2)
  2. Using G42314 (mode 3) select the Product Catalog (P4101H) by clicking the parent
    1. A list is displayed with all the detail items under the Root Level.
    2. There should have been a list of all the Level 2 Folders
