E1: ORCH: Orchestration Error Outputs Are Different when Exception Coming from AppStack Error (Doc ID 2634448.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 31, 2020

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Orchestrator - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Customer has two orchestrations that create a Sales Order.  One is entering header and detail information from the detail form W4210A, the other is entering header information from W4210G and then detail information on the W4210A.  When an error occurs, the outputs are being formatted differently. Orchestration 1 called from P4210_W4210A is returning an easy to read formatted response. Orchestration 2 called from P4210_W4210G Header-Detail is returning a single line with all of the response. How can we make Orchestration 2's output formatted like Orchestration 1?

The output from Orchestration using detail form first shows the exception in JSON format

Why are they different? Is there any way to get the second Orchestration to output the errors in JSON format?
