Symptoms

Blanket release via program P4210 program (Sales Order entry) issues Asynchronous Business Function and Transaction errors where the blanket to release from has advanced pricing adjustments and the release order is not processed at the same time it is created.

Examples of the errors received are shown below:

 

Additionally, the user may encounter some or all of the following errors in the debug.log:

  1. OCI0000178 - Unable to execute
  2. OCI0000179 - Error - ORA-00001: unique constraint
  3. JDB3400009 - Failed to perform Insert for F4074
  4. JDB9901232 - Canceling transaction because: TC052 InsertTable:  Insert failed
