E1: 43: Receipt Routing (P43250) and Purchase Receipts Inquiry (P43214) Enhanced to Provide Option to Pick Lot Grade Change (Doc ID 2636670.1)

When an item has a Lot Grade in the Lot Master P4108 if the following test are done using P43250 Work With Routing Statuses or P43214 Work With Purchase Receipts in E1 8.12 - 9.2 the Lot Grade in the P4108 is changed back to the original Lot Grade value.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

P43250 Test :

1. Create a purchased item in the Item Master and Item Branch with Lot Code of i.e. 3, and assign a Lot Number to the item
2. Go to P4108 Lot Master and inquire on the Item / Lot that was just created then assign a Lot Grade i.e. 2 to the Item / Lot
3. Create a purchase order P4310 for the item / lot
4. Receive the PO P4312 and make sure receipt routing is setup to move the PO into receipt routing
5. Thru P43250 Work With Routing Statuses, move the receipts to ‘STK’
6. In the P4108 Lot Master Change the Lot Grade to a different value i.e. 3
7. Now, using P43250 Work With Routing, move the quantity back to ‘TRAN’ from ‘STK’
8. Notice in the P4108 Lot Master the Lot Grade was reverted to original value of 2

P43214 Test:

1. Create a purchased item in the Item Master and Item Branch with Lot Code of i.e. 3, and assign a Lot Number to the item
2. Go to P4108 Lot Master and inquire on the Item / Lot that was just created then assign a Lot Grade i.e. 2 to the Item / Lot
3. Create a purchase order P4310 for the item / lot
4. Receive the PO P4312 and make sure receipt routing is setup to move the PO into receipt routing
5. Thru P43250 Work With Routing Statuses, move the receipts to ‘STK’
6. Now, using P43250 Work With Routing, move the quantity back to ‘TRAN’ from ‘STK’
7. In the P4108 Lot Master Change the Lot Grade to a different value i.e. 3
8. Now, reverse the receipt using P43214 Work With Purchase Receipts
9. Notice in the P4108 Lot Master the Lot Grade was reverted to original value of 2
