E1: RDA: UBE: Hardcoded Printer is Saved in Wrong Format in UBE Version Specs in Report Design Aid (RDA) (Doc ID 2641243.1)

Last updated on JUNE 17, 2022

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The printer name is hardcoded in UBE version in Print Setup in RDA.

When a UBE version (with or without attached RD) is submitted to server, the Printer Name is not the hardcoded printer when you take row exit (Print) for the UBE version job in WSJ. Instead it is Default Printer in P98616.

This impacts UBE R04572 AP Check Print.
Child UBE R04572 must be hard coded to specific printer in the version for check print because R04572 is called via synchronous report interconnect (RI) in Parent UBE R04571.
By design Child UBE called via Synchronous RI inherits the printer from Parent UBE.

Changes

Tools release update to 9.2.3.3 and above, 9.2.4.x
