E1: 1099: Copy ‘B’: Print (R045152) Actual Paying Company as the Payer (Doc ID 2641663.1)

Last updated on JULY 21, 2020

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Accounts Payable - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

If there are multiple companies with the same EIN, the E1 1099 process requires that the preparer use of Related Address to 'point' to the parent company. When building the respective 1099 worktables (F045141 and F045143) the preparer indicate what related address number was used to 'point' back to the parent company. Consequently, the parent company name and mailing address is used when printing in the Copy B Payer Section. This leads to confusion when the tax recipient receives their Copy B. They don't recognize the company name since it is not the same as the company name on their checks.
