E1: 17: Serial Number (ASID) is not Populated When Saving From CAM - Manage Equipment Work Orders (P13714) Called From Related Action (P90CG503) (Doc ID 2642151.1)

Symptoms

When creating a Case and going to Related Actions - P90CG503 to Create an Equipment Work Order through P13714 application, the Serial Number (Alias: ASID) is blank (not populated).  After inquiring on the Work Order created in the P48201, the Serial Number is still blank.  Also the field F4801T.ASID is blank too.

The issue can be reproduced at will using the following steps:

  1. In P17500 Create Case/Case Update (P90CG501). Goto Related actions (P90CG503), choose Equipment Work Order (P13714) and click Add.
  2. In P13714 click save and continue to generate work order (ex. 667403). Equipment Work order is generated - 667403.
  3. Review the work order in equipment work order inquiry application P48201. Notice that the serial number in ASID is blank.
  4. Now, check the F4801T in databrowser. The serial number in ASID/F4801T is NOT Populated.
