Symptoms

Error ID: 3143 - Date Generation Failed or Error ID: 2777 - Shop Calendar not set up

This error code will appear in the jdedebug.log as szErrorMessageID <type>: STRING <Value>: [3143], or appear on the PDF as: Date generation failed.  You may also see szDateErrorMsgDesc: Shop Floor Calendar not set up.

This error can occur when running R3482 (Single Plant MRP) or R3483 (Multi-plant MRP).  The MRP output PDF report produces the error message "Date Generation Failed" or "Shop Calendar not set up", when the Shop Floor Calendar exists.  In addition, in the MRP Detail Message Review (P3411), there maybe a message on some items indicating that the 'Shop Calendar not set up'. 

Another common symptom is MRP never ends or appears to be looping, resulting in the users canceling the job and the PDF is not created with the actual error.
