E1: XML: TestDriver.java (Invoker) and JXMLTool To Invoke BSFN In JDE Causing CPU Spikes (Doc ID 2649567.1)

Last updated on JUNE 07, 2020

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When attempting to use the TestDriver.java using a command line in Linux, each requests consumes 30%+ CPU for each call.

Example:
>java TestDriver EffectiveAddress.xml EnterpriseServer 6017 out.xml

The CPU usage can be monitored using "htop" on Linux.

Once the XML process the request, then the CPU usage goes down.  However, several requests must submit at the same time through out the day and CPU reaches up to 90%+ on the Linux machine.
