Following ESU UN3 (containing Bug 26667355 - 'SWM FLEX ACCOUNTING DOES NOT WORK FOR AAI 3401', it is not possible to use flex accounting for accrual journal entries (DMAAI 3401) on both discrete and lean manufacturing, in the same time. With the current code, where the system validates the order type instead of document type, if the P40296 is set by DAAI 3401 and company "X", only one of the lean or discrete manufacturing modes triggers correct flex accounting results, leaving the client unable to perform the monthly / annual-end financial closure for either lean manufacturing or discrete manufacturing completions.
When defining either lean or discrete manufacturing flex accounting setup for DMAAI 3401 in P4029 with a non-blank (e.g. IH or LL) document type, the system does not use the MCU (work center) from flex accounting rule definition but rather the MMCU (Branch Plant) value to build the GL accounts for the accrued journal entries.
