E1: JAS: GRID: Grid Operations Leading to java.lang.OutOfMemoryError Despite Disk Cache Being Enabled (Using CacheDataBrowser and CacheFindBrowse) (Doc ID 2652582.1)

Last updated on JULY 01, 2020

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Currently, the disk cache feature (controlled by CacheDataBrowser and CacheFindBrowse) is not used when the "Hide Grid Row" system function is used. Grid disk caching is disabled as soon as "Hide Grid Row" is used. This can lead to out of memory errors (java.lang.OutOfMemoryError) with no logging to indicate that fetchRowsThreshold was exceeded. See Doc ID 2652251.1.
