E1: 46: Performance Issue with R46171 (Process Pick Requests) with Large Number of Picking Instructions (F46095) (Doc ID 2656768.1)

Last updated on JUNE 25, 2020

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When running Process Pick Requests (R46171) and there is a large number of Picking Instructions (F46095) for many different units of measure, a performance issue can occur.  This happens due to numerous failures in the GetItemUoMConversionFactor due to the fact that unit of measure setup in the F46095 does not exist in the F46011.  When processing thousands of records in the R46171, this failure can cause a performance issue, as the program is searching through many records in the F46095 until a valid unit of measure is found.
