E1: 40R: R40R010 (Create Schedule UBE) Adds a New Line to the Sales Order if Original Line is Split at Pack Confirm (P4205) (Doc ID 2657704.1)

Information in this document applies to any platform.

After pack confirming a sales order created from Demand Scheduling (not relieving inventory) to different locations, if the Create Schedule UBE (R40R010) is ran again over the existing demand, a new line for the original quantity is being added to the sales order.  This is doubling the quantity on the sales order and may accidentally be over shipped by the shipping department.  Also, if the new line added to the sales order is on a different shipment or gets backordered, once the original split lines are ship confirmed (inventory relieved), the demand detail is deleted.  This leaves the new line on the sales order orphaned without a demand detail record, which means it cannot be cancelled by running the R40R010.  Since the order line was created from Demand Scheduling, it cannot be cancelled using the P4210.
