Symptoms

Hard error ID: 4723 - 'Quantity Restriction Exceeded for Item' occurs in one of the following situations:

  1. Doing WO completions through Super Backflush for a parent item set with the field Serial No. Required (Alias: SRNR) set to 'N - Serial Number Not Required' and the Lot Process Type (Alias: SRCE) set to '4 - Serial No Optional', the system does not allow completing a WO quantity of more than 1 and triggers.

    or

  2. Attempting to use a serial number already assigned / used on either a different item, or the same item from a different work order.
