Symptoms
When attempting to assign a lot / serial number during work order completions or material issues transactions and that lot / serial number has been previously assigned to the same item on a different work order or a different item number and / or Branch/Plant, the Error ID: 2501 - 'Lot Already Exists for a Different Item' is displayed.
