Last updated on MAY 11, 2020

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Inventory Management - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9.2]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When an item serial number already existed in the Item Location File (F41021) because the item was issued out and then brought back to stock with an inventory adjustment at a different cost, after it is transferred back to the original location (F41021 record will exist if the location did not
get purged); instead the item have a new cost when transferred back to original location, the item keeps the cost of existing location. Customer is looking for an additional functionality that would allow user to have cost changes during inventory transfer if new cost is information in the transaction.
