E1: ORCH: Orchestration Connector Not Correctly Escaping Unicode In Outgoing JSON
(Doc ID 2670366.1)
Last updated on AUGUST 26, 2020
Applies to:JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Orchestrator - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9.2]
Information in this document applies to any platform.
An Orchestration was created to send data to external systems with connection/connector and data request.
The connector converts special characters to Unicode (e.g. ë to U00EB, ä to U00E4) but it does not escape the Unicode with a "\".
Due the this the receiving systems are unable to de-escape the Unicode back to the special character, making the text unreadable.
