E1: 40R: New Line Created by Create Demand Schedule (R40R010) after Quantity Increase has the Wrong Scheduled Pick Date (Doc ID 2673733.1)

Symptoms

When changing the quantity in Work with Demand Detail and running R40R010, the system is adding a new line to the sales order with Schedule Pick date = Requested date in the future.

The expectation is for the Schedule pick date to be today's date or some other date if another route is being selected (based on the new route setup), but not in the future, because the shipment cannot be picked and delivered in the same day.

Steps:

1. P40R10 - entered 29 October 2019

2. Run R40R010. Based on route transit days, the system calculates Scheduled pick = 10/29, promised ship = 10/29, Promised Delivery = 11/06

3. On November 1st, increase the quantity from 5 to 9 and run again the report. Based on the 8 transit days, the Promised ship date would be in the past.

So the system is setting the Scheduled pick date in the future (11/06), same as the Promised delivery date (11/06).
