E1: 49: Shipment Number Copied to Credit Order From History For D Inventory Interface P4210 (Doc ID 2674718.1)

Last updated on JULY 21, 2020

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Transportation Management - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Creating a credit order from history that uses a line type with a D inventory interface always copies the shipment number from the original sales order to the credit order. UDC 49/SD is not populated with the doc type and line type, therefore there should be no shipment number attached to the credit order. If the inventory interface is Y, then no shipment number gets copied to the credit order.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create a transportation order which will generate a shipment number
2. Run the transportation order though sales update and purge the header and detail to history
3. Generate a credit order from history using a line type with a D inventory interface
