E1: RDA: FDA: OMW: Copying ER "Set User Selection" ,"Send Message Extended" , "GT*" MOBJ Functions OR Other System Functions Corrupts Parameters with 64 Bit Development Client (Doc ID 2675258.1)

Last updated on APRIL 04, 2025

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After copying Set User Selection lines, the Comparison value gets corrupted.

Using R48121, as an example.

From Report Design Aid (RDA)
1. Copy the following:
If PO jdDateBillFrom is equal to <Null Date>
     Set Selection Append Flag(<Yes>)
     Set User Selection(BC Eligibility Code (F4812)(ELGC), <Equal To>, <Zero>, <And>)
Set User Selection(BC Document (Order #, Invoice, etc.) (F4812)(DOCZ), ...)
Set User Selection(BC Date - Table Basis (Julian) (F4812)(TBDT), <Less Than or Equal To>, PO jdBilledThroughDate, <And>)
     Set User Selection(BC Order Type (F4812)(DCTO), <Not Equal To>, "R2", <And>)
     Set User Selection(BC Eligibility Code (F4812)(ELGC), <Equal To>, "1", <Or>)
Set User Selection(BC Document (Order #, Invoice, etc.) (F4812)(DOCZ), ...)

3. Save and Exit. Go back into Report Design Aid (RDA).
All of the Set User Selection Lines will show <??? Error> in the Comparison value - the only two that don't, are the ones that show <Less Than or Equal To>.

Similar issue is observed for other system functions such as 'Send Message Extended' or 'GT' Media Object functions where parameters either show <?ERROR or show other garbage characters.

Changes

Issue is specific to 64 bit fat client and is not replicated on 32bit fat client.
