E1: 01: Standard Address Labels (R01401A) Version XJDE0002 – Four Line Standard Avery#5260 Labels, Portrait – Is Not Aligned Properly (Doc ID 2680210.1)

Last updated on JUNE 12, 2020

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Address Book - Version 9.2 and later
JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Currently when Standard Address Labels (R01401A) Version XJDE0002 – Four Line Standard Avery#5260 Labels, Portrait – is run, the output on the PDF is not aligned properly for the standard Avery labels 5160 and 5260.

Per the final disposition of rejected code Bug 20931109 – ADDRESS LABELS ALIGNMENT INCORRECT:

“Manual adjustment of label size is not possible as PDF display will depend on machine resolution.

Like other available Avery format UBEs in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne this UBE will display records based on number of columns / rows defined in Avery format.  The same label size as defined in different Avery format cannot be set in report design due to technical limitation on our RDA.”

Clients are requesting that either RDA or R01401A is enhanced so that the output of R01401A is aligned properly to the Avery labels 5160/5260.
