E1: 49/42: The Shipment Confirmation (P4915/P4205) Application Confirms the Expired Lots if the Shipment is Approved (Doc ID 2681582.1)

Last updated on JUNE 19, 2020

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Transportation Management - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The shipment is confirmed even though the lot, selected in the sales order, is on hold.

Steps:

  1. Create a transportation sales order using P42101 and assign a lot in the line.
  2. Go to Row exit to Work with shipments and Approve the shipment. The shipment will go to 25 status.
  3. Use P4108_ZJDE0001 application to set the lot status to E(expired). This will make the availability to zero.
  4. On Work with shipments screen, select shipment confirmation and click OK.

The application will not re-check the availability and the order will be ship confirmed.

The Shipment Confirmation application should re-check the availability for lots when it confirmed the order.
