E1: TR: SVM: systemcomp folder missing from the Deployment Server after Tools Release Upgrade (Doc ID 2682237.1)

Last updated on JUNE 23, 2020

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Recently upgraded from 9.2.2.x tools release to 9.2.4.3 on Deployment Server using Server Manager. Found that systemcomp folder is missing from the JD Edwards Installation path such as ...\JDEdwards\E920 on Deployment Server. This is Multi Foundation Setup.

e1agent log indicates that existing systemcomp was backed up and system was compressed and systemcomp was copied to ..\JDEdwards\E920 during tools release upgrade:
-----------------------------
FINE: Step 4: Copy the existing systemcomp under D:\JDEdwards\E920 to the Version path D:\JDEdwards\E920\foundation_9.2.2.2_X86, if no systemcomp then compress.
FINE: Step 9: Compress the system in D:\JDEdwards\E920\TRdownload to systemcomp and copy systemcomp to current install directory D:\JDEdwards\E920
-----------------------------
systemcomp was copied to current install directory D:\JDEdwards\E920 but then for some unknown reasons it still did not showed up in JD Edwards Installation path.
What can be done to create the cabinet file system.cab that resides in systemcomp directory?
