Symptoms

One Workflow process has been activated for a multilevel approval flow. When the first email is sent to the first level approver, the email is successfully received. The first approver will approve the request and a second email is sent to the next level approver, but the email is never received.

The Call Object Kernel and the Workflow Kernel are not recording any error. The debug logs of Call Object Kernel and of Workflow Kernel show that the message was accepted by the SMTP server for sending.
