Symptoms

After attempting to remove to remove a path code from a development client, the E1Local database will not start. Message similar to the following are present in the E1Local database alert log (location: \Oracle\diag\rdbms\<DB_Instance>\<DB_Instance>\trace\alert_e1local.log),
