E1: 13: R48350 Resource Master Update Does Not Update Shift Code To Blank (Doc ID 2690386.1)

Symptoms

When running the R48350 Resource Master Update - Address Book over an employee address book record / resource with Default Tab processing options 3. Default Calendar, and 8. Shift Code setup as Blank. The R48350 does not use processing option 8 to update the P48310 / F48301 Shift Code field (SHFT) in the Calendar Tab to Blank.  However if processing option 8 is set to i.e. 1, or 2, it will update P48310 / F48301 Shift Code field (SHFT) in the Calendar Tab to i.e. 1 or 2 respectively.

STEPS TO Duplicate:
1. Go to P01012 Work With Addresses and create and Employee Address Book Record i.e. 217
2. Go to R48350 and set Process Tab processing option to = 1 Final Mode, In the Default Tab set processing option 3. Default Calendar Vales to = Blank (Use Processing Option i.e. 8), 8. Shift Code = 1, 15. Time Zone = 42, 16. Daylight Savings Rule = USA, and Data Select on Address Book Record just created i.e. 217. Run UBE
3. Go to P48310Work with Address Book Resources and inquire on Resource Number/Address Book Record/217.  Select the record and go to Calendar Tab and notice the shift code field has been correctly updated to 1.
4. Run the R48350 again this time with processing option 8. Shift Code = 2
5. Go to P48310 Work with Address Book Resources and inquire on Resource Number/Address Book Record/217.  Select the record and go to Calendar Tab and notice the shift code field has been correctly updated to 2.
6. Run the R48350 again this time with processing option 8. Shift Code = Blank
7. Go to P48310 Work with Address Book Resources and inquire on Resource Number/Address Book Record/217.  Select the record and go to Calendar Tab and notice the shift code field has not been updated to Blank
