E1: 31: Based On Date (BODJ) Disabled in Lot Date Overrides P4108 when Completing a Work Order Location/Lot using Multi-Locations (Doc ID 2690388.1)

Last updated on JULY 16, 2021

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Shop Floor Control - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

% of Life Remaining (POLR) in the Lot Master is being calculated on the Based On Date (BODJ) when a lot created. If there are Manufacturing Effective Days setup for the item and the effective date is in the future this calculation for % of Life Remaining is already being started before the lot is even effective so for aged items this is limiting the shelf life. To adjust the Based On Date when a manufacturing completion date is done the Based On Date would need to be enabled off of the multi-locations form in Lot Date Overrides to manually override it but, it is currently disabled.

Procurement allows this date to be edited

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Allow the user to manually populate the Based On Date to start the % of Life Remaining when manufacturing effective days are being used

STEPS TO DUPLICATE

  1. Manufactured Item using Manufactured Effective Days
  2. Create a work order for the item
  3. Attach parts list
  4. Inquire on the work order in completions
  5. Form exit for Multi-Locations
  6. Row exit for Lot Date Override
  7. Based On Date field is disabled
