E1: FDA: Cursor Jumps Back to Default Field on Form After Switching Screens (Multiple Screens Open For Same Form) (Doc ID 2691706.1)

Symptoms

The cursor jumps back to the default field on form after switching screens. The system does not remember the last cursor position on a form after user switches between forms.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Sign on to the web client.

  2. Enter P4210 in fast path. Customer Service Inquiry Screen (W4210E) will be launched. The default field on this form is the Order Number field in the form header. The cursor will default to the Order Number field which is normal.




  3. Place cursor on any other field on the form header or QBE column. In this example, cursor is placed in the Sold To field in the form header.



  4. Enter P4210 in the fast path to open a second screen of Customer Service Inquiry form (W4210E). Under Open Applications, you will see now Customer Service Inquiry 1 and Customer Service Inquiry 2.




  5. From Open Applications, user select Customer Service Inquiry 1. The screen refreshes and the cursor now jumps back to the default Order Number field instead of staying in the previous field (Sold To field) where the cursor was in.
