Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In form P070920 Work With Tax History/PA Act32/Work With Tax History(PA ACT32) P070920B/Tax Summary(PA ACT32) if you change/add a 6 digit Work and Resident PSD Code (Political Sub-Division), the value is not retained when you re-inquire. Also, if you change an existing record to a new PSD value, the system adds a new record with that value but the form still does not retain the 6 digit PSD code after re-inquiring.

Steps:

1.Setup and run payroll for Pennsylvania employee
2.Fast Path to P070920 and filter on Pennsylvania employee and Tax Type M
3.Row Exit and select PA ACT32 Tax
4.Select record in grid and click green check mark which takes you to Tax Summary (PA ACT32).
5.Update Work PSD Code and Resident PSD Code with 6 digit code and click green check mark to save.
6.Re-inquire on the same record by selecting it (green check mark) and note that the Work and Resident PSD codes are reset back to 0.
